Time & Place, its related bodies corporate, subsidiaries, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors and agents (together, Time & Place) maintain a policy of strict confidence concerning the personal information it obtains. Time & Place is bound by the Australia Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act to the extent that they apply.

Collecting Personal Information


All information collected by Time & Place is for the purpose of providing goods and services to you. This may include the purchase of property, purchasing an interest in property related investments, capital funds investment purposes and/or any possible marketing material about the goods and services that Time & Place and their affiliates provide (the Purposes).

We may collect personal information from you in circumstances where you consent to the collection of this information, or if it is reasonably necessary for, or directly related to, the Purposes. Personal Information collected may include your name, postal address or street address, email address, telephone number and other contact details, age or date of birth, credit card information and such other information we deem as Personal Information (Personal Information).

Your Personal Information may be collected via your attendance at any of our exhibitions, offices, display suites, your subscription to any of our regular mail-outs or newsletters or attendance at client functions. If we obtain Personal Information without your knowledge and the law requires your express consent to obtain such information, we will contact you to obtain your consent.

Use and disclosure of Personal Information


We may use your Personal Information to help provide an efficient service to you, or in the case of tenants, to landlords that we may act on behalf of. Your Personal Information may also be used to provide you with marketing and promotional materials and opportunities, provide administration information to you, further our reporting and trending to improve our products and services, and to accomplish our business purposes.

We may disclose your Personal Information to our affiliates for the Purposes, third-party service providers or suppliers, professional advisers, agents, third parties to permit them to send you marketing communications, you through blogs, flyers and other materials and otherwise as required by law.

Access


Where permitted by law, if you would like to request access to your Personal Information or to correct, restrict, delete or object to the use of Personal Information that you have previously provided to us, or if you would like to request to receive an electronic copy of your Personal Information, you may contact Time & Place and we will respond to your written request in accordance with our legal obligations and no later than 30 days from a written request. A dated record will be kept of any corrections to Personal Information. We will not charge you for any request to correct your Personal Information.

There are some circumstances in which the Australian Privacy Principles provide that we can refuse your request for access to your Personal Information. This includes:

- if we believe the access would pose a serious threat to the life or health of any individual; or
- if the access would have an unreasonable impact on the privacy of other individuals; or
- if the information contains commercially sensitive information; or
- if we can refuse the request by law.

We shall inform you of our decision and reasons for any refusal of your request.

Time & Place take reasonable steps to ensure that the Personal Information that we collect, use and disclose is accurate, up to date and complete. Where an individual requests to have Personal Information corrected, we will take reasonable steps to correct the information as quickly as is reasonably possible, having regard to the purposes for which it is held. Security and Overseas Transfer of Personal Information


All Personal Information is kept within a secure environment. Information obtained in our computer database is protected by fire walls and requires password access to designated personnel. We take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Information from misuse, interference and loss, however we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information.

We may disclose Personal Information outside of Australia to third party suppliers, contractors or cloud providers located in various countries. When you provide your Personal Information to us, you consent to the disclosure of your data outside of Australia and acknowledge that we are not required to ensure that overseas recipients handle that Personal Information in compliance with Australian Privacy Laws.
